De Draconum Natura: Eudraco occidentalis (Heraldic dragon)

Artwork I did in collaboration with a friend of mine, an Italian content creator whose specialization are animals and dinosaurs, Willy Guasti aka Zoosparkle.
The scope of our project is to portray various types of mythologic draconid/fantasy animals designing them with a scientific-plausible approach.
That's why we decided to develop each animal starting with their skeletal structure, layering organs, muscles and tissues over it.
Sadly this artwork is two years old because both me and Willy had to deal with life, but we're finally ready to continue!

So, this is the Eudraco occidentalis, hope you like it!

Go check the video about this dragon if you're interested:
